Summary
The Anti-Semite Next Door is a legal suspense thriller by Mark M. Bello and the ninth installment of the Zachary Blake Legal Thriller Series. The story begins when Zach attends the bar-mitzvah of his friend Rich’s son, Josh Cooper. What’s supposed to be a religious ceremony of a 13-year-old Jewish boy who is ready to observe religious doctrines, turns out to be an explosive event. Literally. His special day is interrupted by bombing and he disappears with his neighbor, Chip Ellis. With no trace of Josh or Chip, Zach believes the bombing was a distraction for the terrorists’ real intention. With the help of familiar characters that avid readers of the series have come to love, Zach will once again do whatever it takes for justice to prevail.

Polarization is the ugliest flower in the world. I remember my ultimate favorite artist saying this in one of his songs. His group being the constant subject of hatred because they knocked down western supremacy and broke stereotypes make this world a scary place. It is full of shortsighted haters who are fueled by jealousy, crab mentality, victim mentality, xenophobia, homophobia, and a lot more where the root cause of anger is often “difference of perception.” What I love about this book are the different characters that Zach is working with to investigate the case. This book exhibited the essence of each character. They are flawed humans who are trying to be good at what they do. Even Zach isn’t perfect but his determination to find the truth to make sure justice prevails just make him a lovable lawyer. Overall, I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars. It was very informative, multidimensional, realistic, and entertaining. I highly recommend it to readers who have been following the Zach legal series as well as new readers who are into legal thrillers.
